Had to fill in an hour on a Thursday evening. Had a pint of the rat lager. A bit weak but only 4% so better if driving. They had a big selection of beers and ales. Lovely real fire, cosy, friendly staff, dog friendly. Will go back again.

As the pub itself was very crowded on the Friday night we visited, my friend and I sat in the spacious garden and thoroughly enjoyed our pints. The place is friendly, and very dog-friendly as well.
